Application limits
Application limits and standard options
Typical products
- Thick particulated sauces from 5 ml sample doses upward
- Products that stratify: oil rises, solids sink, so the first dose differs from the last
- High-viscosity fluids that will not self-level into a piston cylinder
- Abrasive fills containing seeds, nut fragments or salt crystals
Not recommended
- Thin free-flowing water-like liquids — a cheaper gravity or peristaltic filler does this better
- Single-digit microlitre dosing such as essential-oil vials; that is a syringe or peristaltic job
- Products requiring a true volumetric piston certificate for custody transfer
Foam control
Lobe pumping is low-shear and low-pulsation by design, which is why it is used for aerated creams. For foaming liquids we fit an extended submersible filling valve that rises from the jar floor.
Standard options
Axe-type rotor — soft fruit pulp, boba pearls, bean paste, garlic sauce (no shearing)One-leaf rotor — hard seeds, hot pot base, crushed peanut and coarse bath salt (wear resistant)Three-leaves rotor — uniform medium and high viscosity paste: honey, detergent, shampoo, chocolate, mayonnaiseSix-leaves rotor — high-precision micro dosing of fine emulsions, syrups and essential oilsSquare large-bore inlet hopper for products that will not flow: minced meat, batter, taro paste, maltoseDouble-layer water-bath heating jacketSpecial anti-stringing discharge valve or extended submersible anti-foam valve
